Will B. Heard is a Hamburg-based music producer, beatmaker, and passionate record collector — someone who didn’t just listen to Hip Hop, but lived it during the 90s. Growing up in the Golden Era, he was already active as an artist and producer, shaping his sound in an era that still sets the standard today.
After decades of working in the music industry, he felt the pull to go back to his roots — back to the sound that means everything to him. What started as a personal passion project quickly grew into something bigger: a full-length album entitled „This Is Me“. And that title is no coincidence — it’s a statement.
Will B. Heard stays true to the craft of a bygone era, with vintage analog equipment at the heart of his production process. The E-mu SP-12, Akai S900, Akai MPC 2500, and an analog mixing desk are his tools of choice — and that commitment to classic hardware gives his music a raw, authentic quality that speaks directly from the soul of 90s East Coast Hip Hop.
